Stylesheet : Doilies in Packaging

So inspired by the massive pile of paper doilies I just bought at a whopping 3c each, I went on an image search of all the cute and innovative ways crafty-types have used them to package their goods... might be stealing some ideas I think... although the only way to know is to buy something from my online shops (wow, was that an obvious plug or what!!!)...

Re-covered retro chairs.

I bought a really good quality, great nick dining set from the op-shop recently, but the chairs are partly upholstered with a hidious brown vinyl. I'm gonna change that!!! Design*Sponge's before/after archive has been soooo inspiring.

Moving Out #1

Hey!

Well I'm moving out in Feb with a lovely chickie I've known since I was 6, and I'm really excited!

I'll finally be a proper grown-up!

So of course this means I've been looking at all the interior design blogs... soaking up all the cheap ways to make things look awesome.

And my fave so far is mismatched chairs... which is useful considering I'm pretty much going to buy all my furniture form op-shops anyway.

Seriously, I mean white tights, awesome MJ shoes, antique-y brooch at the middle of a peter pan collar, tiny little puff shoulders, pin tucked pleating down centre of dress and lovely red lips! However, I am disappointed with your bag choice. Shame on you to wreck such a perfect ensemble with bad bag selection.

She does have a wonderful sartorial style... google agrees!

I think it must be me subconsciously missing the inability to layer during the summer months, but my brain has just been drawn towards all these different crafty tights!

Reminds me that I need to fix my freecycle bike (its an indi 500 flamingo.. cool name huh?) have a vintage photoshoot with my acornsvintage dresses and wear my newly aqquired white heeled oxfords. And to relax now that Architecture studies are over for the time being.

Haha, blogged three times in the last 6 hours. Shows you how much I missed it during uni.

My Uncle runs an antiques/junk shop, with lots of old farm-stuffs and vintage cake tins and other lovelies. I just got all his keys, I hope he doesnt mind :)
